  3. The earthen pot is covered with Peepal leaves.
  4. A Vrat is followed by the devotees on the day of Vijaya Ekadashi. The fast begins from Dashami and Satvik food is consumed by the devotees.
  5. The fast gets terminated on the day of Dwadashi i.e. the twelfth day or the succeeding day of Vijaya Ekadashi.
